Car withdrawal is real, and it's a bitch.
It's actually made me so unhappy. All I wanted to do tonight was go drive. We had 5 inches of snow. The fucking Cruze couldn't even get out of the driveway with its bald all season tires and asmathic 118 hp engine. I think I'm going to cry.

My 3-er sits taunting my from the driveway thanks to a screwed up series of events. Hopefully picking up a particular Saab 900 on Monday. Because low miles, cheap, and well cared for. Stick but no turbo. It's the right decision, but FWD...

I figure I can trust them to make FWD not suck since they've been doing FWD since the 50s rather than suddenly switching in the 80's like seems so common. Honestly a Saab 900 has been on my bucket-list of models to own at some point ever since taking shifts on a road trip in my friend's clapped out old 900. Granted that was some 13 years ago so I'm hoping it lives up to my memories of funky Sweedishness.

what did you give up?
I'm choosing to let my go-fast I haven't driven in 4 years rot on the far side of a mechanic's garage instead of giving it up and becoming financially responsible/stable.
It's for spite of the Camry I drive now...I thought its moaning engine struggling on our hilly terrain was the pure sound of apathy or something that wanted to die-like it knows its a Camry and will never be anything more...then the bolts to the exhaust muffler rotted off during one of those ascents so now its just louder mmmbbrrraaaaaawwwwwwwwBRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWbbbbrrrrrrrrrrr
